Core Values
BELIEVING, BELONGING AND BECOMING
These core values are the filter for all we do. It is nothing new but is foundational throughout the New Testament.
Believing (faith) is the starting point and the walking point and the finishing point of our connection with Christ. Christians are people of Faith.
Belonging (love) is the great beauty for Christ's church. The Apostle Paul (1 Thess. 4) teaches that the relational connection of the church will show the world the love of Jesus. The church must be a place where people feel that they belong.
Becoming (hope) more and more like Jesus. Our salvation is secure based on the completed work of Jesus, but He has even more for us. We receive hope and we are to give hope. It is our mission and our crown to share Jesus with the world.
I know it seems simplistic but faith, hope and love are as complex and inspiring as it comes. In these three values one can see the finger print of our Creator. The Father(faith), the Son(love) and the Spirit(hope) display these qualities and call the church to do the same.
